Managed Services Sales Executive

Houston, TX

This role will primarily support the IT Outsourcing offerings, based out of Houston. This person will be hungry and eager to develop new business across the portfolio. Our client has been primarily focused in the Oil & Gas sector and wants to expand its offerings within that vertical and expand the IT Outsourcing offerings to other industries in the Houston area. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity! 

Primary Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business for the 1Source IT Outsourcing offering for non-oil and gas verticals
  • ​Ability to generate leads lists, cold call prospects and cultivate sales through the pipeline.
  • Achieve revenue and productivity goals by meeting all stated pro forma sales quotas.
  • Report weekly activities utilizing Salesforce CRM tracking system including CRM management, call logging and weekly sales metrics.
  • Ability to qualify sales opportunities and engaging leadership when appropriate.
  • Facilitate contract generation and negotiation.
  • Imbibe our client and its culture and develop an expert understanding of its signature processes and methodology, to impart to prospects during the sales process.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • ​As applicable to the role and assigned verticals:
    • Become actively involved in industry networking associations.
    • Contribute to company marketing goals, campaigns, and publications.

  • Track record of success for Outsourced IT Services sales in multiple industries.
  • Client-focused and consultative selling style/relationship style.
  • Ability to sell higher quality for higher cost. Our staff is 100% U.S. Based.
  • Ability to work in a highly competitive market with high demand for low cost options with multiple competitors.
  • Proven history of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to effectively manage customer and company expectations.
  • Ability to project a professional and positive image and build trust around the company and its services.
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional follow-through skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and meet deadlines, follow up with clients and internal departments, and drive processes through to completion.
  • Self-motivated individual who exhibits sense of urgency in all sales and service-related activity.
Position Requirements:
  • Strong experience selling IT Outsourcing offerings including full service managed services and Cybersecurity offerings.
  • Experience creating proposals, statements of work and budgets.
  • Strong experience with the entire Microsoft 365 is required. Specific skills in Word, Visio,
  • Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint, and Publisher are preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM suite is highly preferred.
