Senior Engineering Recruiter

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of Recruiters, you will be responsible for recruiting the best and the brightest to design, test, manufacture and launch reusable spaceflight systems. Combining your innovative spirit and recruiting acumen, you will help shape the future of human spaceflight by enabling the team to acquire the talent that will solidify our vision of Millions of People Living and Working in Space!
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Full life cycle recruiting from the first phone call to the new hire’s first day
  • Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools, networks and pipelines; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrate candidates with hiring managers
  • Develop prospects into candidates. Engage, sustain relationships, screen and interview
  • Collaborate, coach and develop other members of the Talent Acquisition Team – feed it forward. Contribute to the knowledge base of the team by sharing new talent insights and useful industry information
  • Partner with hiring managers, business unit leaders and other members of Team Blue by leading and participating in scoping discussions, weekly tag ups and debriefs
  • Prepare/contribute to search status reports and lead/participate in client update meetings on active searches
  • Provide strategic guidance and become a trusted advisor to leaders by delivering results
  • Dive deep with an inquisitive mindset into the technical requirements of the requisitions and business units you will be supporting

Qualifications of the Senior Engineering Recruiter:
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Recruiter 
  • Experience recruiting high volume manufacturing/production talent as well as niche engineering skill sets
  • Flexibility - you move and grow along with the business’ needs
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Proven history of collaboration with a knack for proactively communicating across locations and across teams
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt in a fluid environment while producing results or troubleshooting independently
  • Curiosity; with a boundless desire to learn and a compassionate team player who relishes continual learning
  • Insatiable desire to delight hiring teams and a personal commitment to continuously improve delivery
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired skills for the Senior Engineering Recruiter:
  • A track record of success recruiting talent at an executive search firm, high volume agency and/or at a dynamic start up experiencing rapid growth 
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer
